In 'The Piano and the Flightsimulator', concert pianist RALPH VAN RAAT, who also holds his Private Pilot License, operates a flight simulator through playing the piano. The public watches the simulator together with its pianist-pilot Ralph. As Ralph looks around him, images are projected on three large screens that show the audience not only the inside of the plane, but also the airspace in which he is flying. The sounds from the piano, Ralph's conversations with ground control, and the sounds produced by the simulated aircraft are all part of a composition by FLORIAN MAGNUS MAIER. The advanced technology of this interactive musical production is in the adept hands of music technologist THOMAS RUTGERS. A sensational show from music production house INTRO IN SITU, there have been nine sold out performances to date. Audiences went wild! A concert for those of all ages who love music, aviation or both!
